L.I.I.T ( Low Intensity Interval Training )

Consists of intervals of exertion followed by intervals of rest but unlike with a H.I.I.T workout, the element of impact is removed.

There no jumping or pounding instead slow, controlled movements using weights, resistance bands and body weight without putting stress on the joints .

L.I.I.T is a more mindful approach to fitness. Its a vey versatile workout where you alternate between intervals of a higher intensive and a lower intensity over the duration of the workout at a gentler pace than H.I.I.T

L.I.I.T lasts upto 55 minutes at an intensity of a standard steady state cardio workout.

Examples

60 seconds squats - 2 minutes active rest

30 seconds pushups - 90 seconds active rest

or

4 circuits of : 10 push ups by 30 seconds

10 squats by 30 seconds

Kettlebell swings by30 seconds

Weights by 30 seconds

followed by a 90 second rest break in between
