Some do’s and don’ts.
Wear comfortable form fitting workout clothes. Your instructor needs to be able to see your body alignment and form. Also be aware that some Pilates exercises can be a bit revealing with legs up in the air and or open so you want to avoid potential embarrassment.
Please avoid wearing accessories.
Long hair is best to be tied back
Please avoid zips, clips, buttons or other metal trimmings as it damages the upholstered equipment.
Grippy socks are recommended.
Let your instructor know about new and existing injuries
Do not do an exercise or movement that pains you. Please be aware that pain is the bodies way of telling us there is something is not right for me. It is perfectly appropriate to stop this exercise. The instructor can suggest or modify an alternative movement
Remember the aim is to help you feel good, strong and better than you did before.
Also remember if you don’t tell the instructor what your body feels then its difficult to help.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
A little more.
